during the alcatraz night tour, they open the hospital and kitchen and the rangers tell stories. it is pretty cool. plus theres the SF skyline lit up at night which is stunning. as a bonus, the bay bridge has an art installment right now so it lights up, too. pretty! that night, the only thing that sounded even slightly appetizing was a cup of noodles. like the kind you buy at 7-11 and microwave. what?
friday we rode the trolleys to union square and shopped around a bit, we went see the painted ladies, and we went to the mission district and saw the mission and ate, yes, ATE! really yummy burritos. it was a chill day but really fun.
saturday was breakfast and the walt disney museum. none of us had very high expectations for the museum, but, surprisingly we super loved it! it was so interesting to learn more about the business of disney. good stuff. and, since my appetite was back, we got dim sum and then drove back to davis.
the second half of spring break was a utah party. we got together with family, i played with the triplets - who are so big at 1 years old, ricks was a lawyer boy, and mindy had her new baby mint (aka calen).
even despite the sickiness. it was such a fun and good break! happy easter to all!
